Collection Of Your Beloved One
Upon the passing of a beloved one, we facilitate timely collections and transfer services. Once the funeral home is contacted, our team is then activated with the instructions provided and dispatched to the location which in most cases is a private residence, hospice, hospital, airport, seaport, or the scene of an incident.

Our team meets you at the point of need to handle your dearly departed one carefully.
Handling And Preparation
Lee Funeral Services is committed to providing your dearly departed one with the highest quality care as we maintain hygienic conditions to preserve their dignity. This process of handling and preparations starts from the point your loved one is collected, checked into our facility, washed, dressed, groomed, and presented to you memorably.
Cultural and spiritual beliefs regarding the final funeral rites of a loved one are respected and followed through with our well-trained staff who are available to assist no matter the nature of the request.

Pathologist And Postmortem (Autopsy) Facilities
In collaboration with our team of consultant pathologists and pathology laboratories, Lee Funeral Services is fully equipped to carry out both forensic and clinical investigations in a manner that allows the conclusion to the inquest of the passing of a loved one.
Our consultant pathology team guides families through this difficult process, the family is sensitized to the requirements, procedure, expectations, timelines, and results of undertaking a post-mortem. We also give psychosocial support to the family as we understand that the autopsy process can be quite startling, attributable to the family’s unfamiliarity to the process.

Our dedicated Private Chapel of rest serves as a comforting space to perform your final funeral rites to your dearly departed.
Our priority is to handle each client with the respect and dignity that is deserved. For any assistance with the collection, handling, embalming, preparation, and burial services, please do not hesitate to Contact Us for our support.

Documentation
As a registered private funeral home that has been in operation for over 40 years, we understand the importance of getting all the documentation in check before the final resting day.
We liaise with all foreign offices, airlines, and public health offices to make sure that all that is legally required to carry out either burial, cremation, exhumation or repatriation is availed to the family.

Embalming
With the preservation of a loved one, science has evolved with procedures such as having the body frozen to below zero degrees Celsius or infused with medication to have the decomposition rate slowed down. Nature does continue to take its course as time goes by, however, essentially, we are able to perform a few fixes to make sure that your loved one is presented to you in a dignified manner despite the timelines outside of a preservation unit. With embalming, your loved one is infused with chemicals that essentially dehydrate the body to allow for the presentation of your loved one in a sanitary state.
When dealing with repatriations where your loved one will have to be transported to their final resting place by air, commercial airlines require that the body be embalmed and a certificate be issued to confirm this procedure. Lee Funeral Services is more than capable of facilitating this process as we have been in the industry for 40 years and counting.
